Berakhirnya SPMB Tahun 2025/2026 merupakan proses panjang bagi sekolah dalam melaksanakan tahapan-tahapan SPMB yang membuahkan hasil dan upaya pencapaian target penerimaan siswa baru yang mengalami peningkatan dari tahun sebelumnya bagi SMK Negeri 6 Bungo.
Ini dibuktikan langsung dengan peresmian pembukaan kegiatan Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah (MPLS) pada upacara hari senen (14/07/2025) awal masuk sekolah bagi siswa baru di SMK Negeri 6 Bungo.
Kegiatan MPLS dibuka secara resmi oleh kepala sekolah M. Gasim S, ST. yang diikuti oleh siswa baru sebanyak 256 siswa. Kegiatan MPLS ini diadakan selama 5 hari.
“Alhamdullilah tahun pelajaran 2025/2026 SMK Negeri 6 Bungo mengalami peningkatan dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya, Kami mengucapkan terima kasih yang sebesar-besarnya kepada orang tua/wali murid terutama masyarakat bungo yg telah mempercayakan serta menitipkan anaknya untuk belajar di sekolah kejuruan SMKN 6 Bungo”. Ucap Kepala Sekolah.
“Satu-satunya SMKN 6 bungo yang memiliki kompetensi keahlian Tata Busana, Tata Boga, DKV, Kecantikan dan Elektronika. Serta memiliki Fasilitas peralatan praktek yang lengkap, dimana jurusan Tata Boga dan Kecantikan hanya ada di SMKN 6 Bungo”. Tambah M. Gasim.
Kepala Sekolah juga menyampaikan rasa terima kasihnya kepada pihak media yang bekerjasama ikut membantu dalam mensosialisasikan program SMK Negeri 6 Bungo kepada masyarakat hingga lebih mengenal lagi apa yang menjadi program atau jurusan andalan SMK Negeri 6 Bungo.
